You're listening to a Mamamia podcast. Hello, Unleashes. It's Mia Freedman here, also known, in this context, as Producer Mia. I know that you're obsessed with Cath Mahoney. Honestly, I am as well. Isn't she like human sunshine? And I know that you love her because you're all up in our DMs like, "I wanna know more about Cath and about all the hosts," which is fair, because they're pretty remarkable women. So I found this conversation that I had with Cath, and I thought, "You immediately need to hear it. You're gonna love it." Because what you might not know about this woman is the following. Before she was on Unleashed making us laugh about vag waxes and dating, she sat across from me when I hosted No Filter and told me one of the most honest, funny, and genuinely gutting stories that I'd heard in years. She was married, as many of you know, to one of the most famous sportsmen in Australia, a big well-known footy player. And so when that marriage ended, as it did quite a few years ago, she wasn't just dealing with divorce and being a single mum. She was dealing with public scrutiny and that feeling of, "Hang on, who am I now?" Which I think is really familiar to women who've been through divorce, even if their ex is not a famous Australian.
