President Trump says he has left instructions for a massive military response if Iran succeeds in assassinating him. Trump told the New York Post that he's been on Iran's target list, quote, "for a long time," and said that he's ordered the US to, quote, "literally bomb them at levels that they've never seen before" if anything happens to him. The comments come after threats against Trump were prominently displayed during the funeral ceremonies of former Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, including banners reading, quote, "We will kill Trump." The president said today that Iran has asked to continue negotiations with the United States, though he added that he considers the ceasefire over.
