[upbeat music] Protests spread across the UK, Iran attacks Kuwait, and the vote counting continues in California. I'm Daily Wire Executive Editor John Bickley. George is on vacation for a little bit longer. It's Wednesday, June 3rd, this is Evening Wire. Iran attacked Kuwait following a late-night skirmish with the US, and President Trump confirmed his heated phone call with Netanyahu. Iran launched an overnight drone strike on Kuwait's international airport, killing one person and injuring more than 60 others just days after the airport reopened following earlier strikes. Officials say multiple hostile drones slammed into terminal one, causing widespread damage and forcing all commercial flights to stop. Videos posted online show smoke pouring from the terminal. The attack came after the US targeted an Iran-linked oil tanker attempting to break through the American blockade. The US military confirmed the retaliatory strikes on an Iranian military facility after Iran fired the missiles and drones toward Kuwait and also Bahrain. Meanwhile, in an interview with the New York Post, President Trump confirmed the validity of an Axios report and claimed he had a tense call with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
