Today on Spirit Outspoken, we're talking with Charlie Goldsmith, an Australian energy healer who has spent the better part of three decades doing something most people in his position never do: submitting himself to science. Charlie first discovered his healing ability at 18 and quickly recognized both how powerful it was and how little credibility the field had. Rather than retreat into the margins, he made it his life's mission to change that. In 2013, he completed his first formal scientific study at NYU, working with emergency and inpatients in a clinical setting. Today, he's part of a blinded trial at a major U.S. research center with a government-funded study set to launch this year. But Charlie isn't stopping at proving himself. He's building something much bigger: a network of gifted healers and an app that would let anyone with an iPhone connect with them at a price point accessible to every income level. He believes this is a human capacity that medicine has ignored for far too long, and he's determined to bring it into the mainstream.
