Imagine the International Space Station, 250 miles above Earth. An astronaut floats toward a specialized food printer. Through the window behind her, Earth rotates slowly, blue oceans, white clouds, the curve of the planet against black space. She opens the printer, steam disperses in zero gravity, tiny droplets catching the light. Inside, a pizza, round, about six inches across, golden crust, perfect cheese melt, bubbles where sauce met heat. She takes it carefully, brings it to her mouth, and bites. She smiles. It tastes like pizza. Not like Earth exactly, not like Naples or New York or Chicago, but like pizza, like home, like normal, like Friday nights with family, or pickup after work, or ordering when you're too tired to cook. She looks out at Earth, spinning below. Pizza has literally conquered every frontier, even space. The same food that started as flatbread slapped against a clay oven in ancient Persia is now being eaten in orbit. But back on Earth, that blue marble rotating below, people are still arguing about whether pineapple belongs on it.
