Episode 443: Dallas, Jay Hay, Jared, and Tyler react to a loaded week of news in the baseball world. Surefire Hall of Famer Justin Verlander has announced his retirement at the end of the 2026 season. Dallas reflects on one of the greatest pitchers he ever shared the diamond with, what Verlander’s career means, and the end of a bygone era for starting pitchers.
Jared Jones became the latest pitcher to be pulled in the midst of a perfect game. Jared and Jay Hay dive deep into why they believe it was the right decision for both the Pirates and the Marlins. Yankees announcer Michael Kay found himself in hot water after reporting that Anthony Volpe would not be moving positions.
