    こんにちは。Welcome to Learn Japanese with Masa Sensei. Today in this episode, we will learn about べきではない, which means should not do, ought not to do, not supposed to do. Now, let's go. Verb dictionary form plus べきではない. This means should not do, ought not to do, not supposed to do. This is used to express strong advice, criticism, prohibition, or the belief that someone is wrong or inappropriate. The only exception is する plus べきではない. You can either say するべきではない or すべきではない. べき expresses what the speaker believes is correct, proper, or expected. The negative form べきではない means the speaker believes an action is not appropriate or wrong or unnecessary or should be avoided. This expression is commonly used for warnings, criticism, rules, morals, and strong advice. There are three usages for べきではない. The first one is giving strong negative advice. The second one is expressing prohibition or criticism. The third one is talking about morals
