Caro and their girlfriend, Charlotte, live in rural northern Arizona, just south of the Navajo Nation. One night, while driving to Charlotte’s house, Caro spotted her standing in the road calling out for her missing cat, Benny. As the search unfolded, they both realized something felt seriously off. It was then that they saw an unnatural and inhuman figure sprinting across the road.
