[upbeat music] Welcome to After the Edit, your go-to for everything reality TV, brought to you by Cash Money Media. I'm Darin Carp, and today our guest turned scrubbing toilets into a full-on breakout moment on Vanderpump Villa, from a very confident juicy and plump moment to somehow stepping into a butler role and walking away with the 50K.
Hagen Bach· Guest0:27
Yes.
Daryn Carp· Host0:28
Yeah, he made it count. We're joined by Hagen Batch. Is that how you say it? Bach.
Hagen Bach· Guest0:32
Bach. It's like a chicken.
Daryn Carp· Host0:33
Oh.
Hagen Bach· Guest0:33
Bach, Bach, Bach.
Daryn Carp· Host0:34
I was gonna say, like, the famous composer.
Hagen Bach· Guest0:35
Oh yeah, some people say that. I say chicken.
Daryn Carp· Host0:37
[laughs] Okay. Okay, yeah, well, okay, I'm gonna go fancy.
Hagen Bach· Guest0:39
Yeah, yeah.
Daryn Carp· Host0:39
We're joined by Hagen Bach. Uh, Hagen, welcome to After the Edit.
Hagen Bach· Guest0:43
Thanks so much for having me. Happy to be here.
Daryn Carp· Host0:45
You're so handsome in person- Oh my gosh ... let me just say. You didn't come in your butler outfit. You came in your regular, normal people clothes, which is totally fine. Um, like I said, like, you had, you had such an interesting journey for a few seasons on Vanderpump Villa. You went from finance to scrubbing toilets in Italian castle. Be honest, what was your, like, "What am I doing with my life?" moment?
Hagen Bach· Guest1:07
Yeah, I have that a lot, honestly.
Daryn Carp· Host1:09
[laughs] Every day.
Hagen Bach· Guest1:09
Like, I wake up and I look in the mirror and I say, "So what's happening?" But it's fun. I've really... Like, yeah, I started in finance, did that for a year. I got the show. They made me quit my job, so I said, "Okay, let's quit," and then here I am. Somehow went from toilets to butlering, and I will say butlering is so much better. You don't have to get down and- In that house ... like scrub all the skid marks. Sorry
