Really, uh, my parents made it a point of, of, of teaching their faith to us.

Um, whether that was like thr- through direct instruction when we were homeschooled or just like talking about things- Okay ... of their faith. Um, especially as we got older, having conversations about things. I just had this sense of like, "Jesus loves me, and I... And, and that requires a decision on my part. Like, I, this, this love is so real that I can't remain indifferent to it. Like, I either have to accept Him- Hmm ... or reject Him." Recognizing that something was missing in my life, in my practice of the faith, because the faith was something I just kind of took for granted- Hmm, hmm ... growing up. And so, um, meeting young people who, like, knew Jesus- Hmm ... and spent time in prayer with Him every day, um, I was just, I was just so astonished by them.
