What do you love about being a sister or our way of life?
Miriam· Host0:03
There's probably so many things.
Irenaeus· Guest0:05

St. Irenaeus was a student of St. Polycarp. St. Polycarp was a, a student, a disciple of St. John the Apostle. Sometimes I get down on myself that, like, I'm- Mm ... still a mess. I've still got all of these things in my life that I haven't figured out. But I'm His mess.

[upbeat music] Hi, and welcome to Dominican Sisters Open Mic. My name is Sister Miriam, and I'm one of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist. We're based out of Ann Arbor, Michigan. Each week, we're sitting down with our very own sisters, and we're talking all things Dominican. And today I'm really excited to have our Sister Irenaeus on our show. And I've asked if she would share a little bit about her patron saint, St. Irenaeus, as well as the Church Fath- Father. So we're looking forward to the conversation, and also just getting to know Sister and her story a little bit. Sister, thank you so much for coming.
