[upbeat music] I am unashamed. What about you?
Al Robertson· Host0:04
Welcome back to Unashamed. We, uh, I, I mentioned the last podcast that I had double-booked, uh, uh, Josh and Cy, but thankfully Cy was able to do both. That was great, Cy.
Jase Robertson· Host0:18
Oh, I'm glad you were here, Cy. You cut, you cut the tension.
Al Robertson· Host0:21
Well- That was, that was one of the more difficult podcasts I've been a part of. Yeah, and, uh, we, we said it in the podcast that, that Josh had asked. And, and, but we were worried 'cause we just didn't know, you know? We know the grieving process and, but, you know, obviously what he shared was, was very powerful.
Jase Robertson· Host0:36
Oh.
Al Robertson· Host0:36
So.
Jase Robertson· Host0:37
Yeah, I've never felt so small. I thought- Yeah. [laughs] ... 'cause there's this ... I mean, I feel like, uh, you know, we've all experienced death in some sort of family- Yeah ... and loved ones.
Lisa Robertson· Guest0:50
Well, when it hits- But my wife is kind of a no-go in my mind.
Jase Robertson· Host0:54
I'm like, "Please, Lord, no."
Lisa Robertson· Guest0:57
Yeah, well, yeah.
Jase Robertson· Host0:58
I mean, you know, and I don't- We don't want any of it.
Lisa Robertson· Guest1:00
Don't want no death ...
Jase Robertson· Host1:00
I don't even wanna think about that. And, you know, here's a guy, man, ha- has a beautiful- Well, he's a- ... Christ-loving wife, and then two weeks, you know, after you put her in the ground- Yeah ... he, he's being that articulate and passionate- Yeah ... about the Lord, and he's got four young daughters. It was very powerful.
Al Robertson· Host1:21
I love that he said that God's been preparing him 20 years for this moment, and that's such a great way to look at it. 'Cause you don't know when you're gonna face
