Hey, English learners. Welcome to another phrasal verb episode. I hope you're doing well and that you're ready to learn some more English phrasal verbs. Today, we're gonna look at three phrasal verbs, and one of them, I wanna look at two different meanings of that one. So a lot of phrasal verbs today. The first one is come up with. So come up with means to think of an idea or plan. So for example, I could say, "He came up with a crazy scheme to make tons of money." Here I'm saying he invented this idea. He thought of this plan to make lots of money. So that's come up with. The next one is cool off. When someone cools off, it means that they calm down from anger, excitement, or agitation. So they had these emotions, and then now they're calming down, and now they are not feeling those emotions as intensely anymore. So for example, I could say, "Let's not discuss the subject again until you've cooled off." So in this case, I'm saying that once the person calms down, once they cool off, we can discuss the subject calmly.
