Nature can be just as haunted as any old house, and this week we're venturing into the wilderness. Unseen beasts circle tents in the night and mimics, not-deer, flesh pedestrians and creatures we’ve never heard of before all emerge from the darkness. Whether you're an avid camper or an ‘indoor cat,’ these camping and hiking encounters might make you think twice before your next trip into the forest.

• A protection spell may have summoned a mysterious guardian outside two campers' tents.
• A possibly haunted vibrator becomes an unexpected paranormal alarm clock.
• Mimics take the form of a listener's parents during a terrifying night of house-sitting.
• A camping trip is plagued by a scarred deer, distant screams, and unseen visitors in the dark.
• A bizarre humanoid creature contorts itself and disappears into the hollow of a tree.
