[upbeat music] Welcome to the Winged Wheel podcast, the number one source for news, analysis, and discussion on the Detroit Red Wings, the NHL, and all things hockey. Here are your hosts, Ryan Hanna, Brad Krysko, and Evan Lopsinger.
Ryan Hanna· Host0:23
Yeah, this is all my fault. 100% my fault. I couldn't shut up about the golf trip for multiple episodes leading up to this, and not only that- I don't know why you were excited.
Evan Lobsinger· Host0:37
I watched you golf today.
Ryan Hanna· Host0:38
Yeah, and you, and yet you ended up, what was our final score?
Evan Lobsinger· Host0:41
We were tied.
Ryan Hanna· Host0:41
All square. That's- Not good. Why would you tee that up for me?
Evan Lobsinger· Host0:44
Yeah, I'm sorry.
Ryan Hanna· Host0:45
Yeah. Don't- I thought I was gonna win that one [laughs] I, I thought you were too, boss. But yeah, unfortunately, not only that for Evan, but I was leaving my house today and I looked at my laptop on the counter and I said, "I don't need that." [laughs] I actually had, like, that's a real thing that happened. I said, "I'm not gonna need that." What's happened in the past month? The month of May, we put out an episode twice a week, and before every one we pretty much cried. Like, what's gonna, what are we gonna talk about? I'm thankful that the draft is coming. We don't even have a first-round pick. And then on the 13th hole today, our, both our phones blow up, Evan. And when, you were saying when your phone blows up, that's when you know it's bad.
Evan Lobsinger· Host1:22
That's when I know it's bad. Because, yeah, I opened my phone and there were a bunch of messages from people who only talk to me about Red Wings.
