[gentle music] what I'd really like to explore today is how we survive when you're really overwhelmed and when distress is very high. What do you guys think overwhelm is?
Hugh van Cuylenburg· Host0:09
It, it's too much for me to manage.
Emily· Guest0:11
Mm-hmm.
Ryan Shelton· Host0:11
Yeah, I feel like my intellect kinda shuts down.
Emily· Guest0:14
Mm-hmm.
Hugh van Cuylenburg· Host0:14
Too many people wanting too much of me at a certain time, and then a feeling of wanting to call Mom and Dad.
Emily· Guest0:19

Hugh van Cuylenburg· Host0:41
So you grow the window?
Emily· Guest0:42
Grow the window. Yeah. Okay, so what do we do when we're outside of our window?
Hugh van Cuylenburg· Host0:46
Mm-hmm.
Emily· Guest0:46
Shall I dive in?
Hugh van Cuylenburg· Host0:48
Yes.
Ryan Shelton· Host0:48
Yes.
Hugh van Cuylenburg· Host0:48
Please, please.
Emily· Guest0:48
Okay.
Ryan Shelton· Host0:49
[laughs] Give us the tools.
Emily· Guest0:50
Yeah. All right.
Speaker 40:50
