    Well, it's certainly gratifying that so many Democrats have come out against Trump's war on Iran. In many respects, the party's leadership has helped make it possible. Through congressional resolutions, public statements, and party platforms, Democratic leaders have repeatedly issued exaggerated and alarmist statements about Iran's supposed danger to the region, threatened the use of military force, and undermined diplomatic initiatives, sometimes even criticizing Republicans from the right.
