When we saw the Eras Tour, when we watched it originally, um, when it came out in mood- movie theaters, gosh, um, this was one of the songs that I went back and listened to because I had never heard it, and I thought that it was really quite good.

    There's certainly hints to, of All Too Well in this. It's a, uh, a very potent song. Um, according to Swift on the prologue to Evermore, it's part of a trilogy, the Unhappily Ever After anthology of marriages gone bad that includes infidelity, ambivalent toleration, and even murder.
