Someone in the New Forest is on a killing spree, with dead animals left in lots of different places. Could the dead animals left outside the school be some kind of satanic sacrifice? Chris Packham steps in to help Dan and Lucy investigate.

Buried is the multi award-winning investigative podcast series digging into some of the most disturbing environmental stories in history. In this series, reporters Dan Ashby and Lucy Taylor team up with the wildlife presenter Chris Packham, whose own dead-animal death threats escalated into a car bomb outside his house. The dead animals lead them into uncovering a criminal underworld in the British countryside.

    The first one originally was, was just that there was a deer's head left in what's now a closed off porch.

    Somebody's just, uh, obviously just cut the head off and left it there at the base of a cross, and put the cross upside down.

    Canon Simon Treloar was unlucky enough to find a deer's head outside his church.
