She got ready at the Towers Hotel, which is another part of Swansea, and I went there in the morning, you know, to help her get ready, et cetera. And she was just very excited, but I had somehow, by pure proxy, become bridesmaid. And I was like, "Well, you know, obviously somebody needs to be there." So I ended up being bridesmaid.

Merenissa Thomas is another one of Charmaine's close friends from Liberty Church. She'd only recently been drafted in as bridesmaid. And as they make steady progress through the Saturday morning traffic, she reflects that she's barely seen her friend in weeks.
