[upbeat music] All right, you happily miserable accursed. Let's get this pod started. It's Hurley here, and as usual, I've got your ever-loving political panel with me, Jordan Leichnitz, Scott Reid, and Corey Teneycke. Haven't seen you in a week. How you been? It was Canada Day. It was Independence Day in Ottawa, for those of you who go to the, uh, Fourth of July party. Jordan, I'm looking at you. And, um- Not this year. [chuckles] And, uh, World Cup. Lots of stuff going on. Jordan, how you been, basically?
Jordan Leichnitz· Panelist0:36
I've been good. Uh, thank you for asking. I did not wash away during the great flood of Canada Day in Ottawa. Um, but it was a, a pretty nice week overall. Got to go see my family this weekend, and, uh, my kids have spent every day being in some sort of body of water, so everyone's doing good summer stuff here.
David Herle· Host0:57
Yeah. Okay. All right. Scott, you get up to the cottage, see your mom?
Scott Reid· Panelist1:05
I did, but my mom, my mom declined to come to the cottage. So I went to the cottage, hauled her ass down there, and then, uh, and then Mom called and said, "I, la-last year they did fireworks and my legs ached. I'm not coming." [laughing] So I said, "Well, they, they're not doing the fireworks this year until August 1st." And she said, "Well, I just... It's too late now anyway. And my legs, all I remember is my legs aching."
