Martha Kelner investigates the booming peptides craze in the United States. These injectable compounds are being used by a growing number of people to “improve” their lifestyles whether that’s losing weight or gaining muscle. But are they safe?

Meanwhile, President Trump’s diplomatic team remain in the US, not in Islamabad for the much‑talked‑about peace talks with Iran.

The conflict is also being felt far from the Middle East. In California, a woman has been arrested, accused of trafficking arms to Sudan on Iran’s behalf.

    [laughing] No, better not go there. [laughing] But, yeah, that's quite good. You know, homegrown phrase, British phrase, kind of thing you wouldn't hear in the United States.

    It's funny though, isn't it? 'Cause we do have a lot of phrases which you only learn after you've said it, that they don't say over here. So I was saying to my partner, I said, "Oh, what did he have to say for himself then?" [laughing] And he's like, "What?"

    [laughing] [laughing] Yeah, but, uh, to be fair, the Americans, uh, they've got a collection of their own that we do not use. I came into work today, and the security guard at the front door, she said to me, "Good morning. I'm so happy that you're here." [laughing] Which is like an upgrade on, "Have a nice day."
