[upbeat music] Welcome to a reaction show for the Love of Cricket. I, I'm Stuart Broad. The, the test match squad for The Oval, the second test against New Zealand has been released. There is no Ben Stokes as captain and no Gus Atkinson. They have been left out of the test match squad. They have been replaced by Jofra Archer and Jordan Cox. They, they're the only changes in the squad. I've written myself a couple of notes on my phone just to sort of bounce around really. What's my initial reaction to that? Uh, after Ben Stokes and Gus Atkinson missed the curfew on m- the early hours of Monday morning. Uh, there was an incident with a young Saracens rugby player that Gus Atkinson and a security officer was involved in. Don't think Ben Stokes was, was near that incident. But his crime, so to speak, is missing the curfew. I, I'm unsurprised that they've been left out of this test match squad. The curfew is, is there, rightly or wrongly. We'll discuss that a little bit more, uh, during this show. Um, I, I, I think they had to be left out of this test match squad while
