The Rebbe writes back, "I have to take exception to the use of the term small Jew." His father was looking for help from a far-flung community, and all of a sudden, the Rebbe Shliach appears there on the island. Long story short, they got the kid into camp, and then into yeshiva, and then the father writes a letter of thanks to the Rebbe for remembering a small Jew from Curaçao. So the Rebbe writes back, letter in English, "I have to take exception to the use of the term small Jew." Because if you read chapter two of Tanya, it says that every Jew has a Nefesh Elokis, a godly soul, which has infinite potential. So there's no such thing as a small Jew. Maybe if you would've come across it in a Sikha or in a Maamar, yeah, sure, yeah, every Jew has a godly soul, chapter two of Tanya- Right ... no small Jew. But you see it in the context- Practically applied.
