Mike Bennett· Host0:11
Well, seeing as we're the Zooquarium podcast, and we talk about art and science and all things animals, uh, we know you worked on Chicken Run, we know you animated chickens. Are there any other animals that like stand out in your animation career that you've gotten to work with or animate?
Adam Taylor· Guest0:26
Yeah. Uh, on Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio, um, I got to focus on Spazzatura the Monkey- Nice ... uh, for, for a lot of my shots. Really fun. Um, he rode some balloons high up into the sky, and then came down very quickly when his friend, not very good friend, um, shot the balloons. So, you know, did, did a lot of stuff with the monkey. And in Wendell & Wild, another film I worked on, uh, I got to do the octopus. So all- Oh ... of the octopus shots in that movie were me, uh, which was such a treat. It's my wife's favorite animal, and so I kinda, I volunteered as kind of a love letter to my wife. [laughs] And was like, "I wanna do the octopus for her."
Mike Bennett· Host1:12
[laughs] [laughs] I think you're speaking Chanelle's language right now.
Chanel Hason· Host1:16
Yeah. I mean, I have a tattoo an octopus on my arm. [laughs] So they are definitely- Oh.
Adam Taylor· Guest1:21
Oh ...
Chanel Hason· Host1:21
one of my favorite smart alien creatures of our planet.
Adam Taylor· Guest1:25
They're incredible. Yeah.
Chanel Hason· Host1:27
So props to your wife. She's got good taste.
