Um, so for important backstory, my birth mom lost custody of me when I was, like, seven or eight, and my aunt and uncle across the country then took me in and became my legal guardians. Um, living with them was tumultuous. They just weren't equipped to be adoptive parents. Um- Oh, wow ... I could go into depth, but that's for a different story. Um, so when I was 18, we got into a pretty big argument- Wow, we're not even getting into that ... and I told them that I didn't believe in God.
