There has been a second night of riots in Belfast following a knife attack in the Northern Irish city on Monday. Yesterday authorities called for calm after vehicles and houses were set alight. Outside under the streetlights, a man could be seen writhing on the ground as an attacker wielding a kitchen knife pinned him down.

[shouting] Already bloodied, the man could be heard shouting, "What did I do? Help me," while onlookers unable to tackle the man with the knife were terrified about what might happen next. Then a passerby leapt into action.
