[mysterious music] Well, hello and welcome to our season one recap. My name is Andrew Crabtree, creator of The Void, and I'll be guiding you through this trip down memory lane. Maybe you're a fan that's been with us since chapter one, or maybe you're just new to The Void and looking to jump into our new season. Either way, hopefully this recap can give you all the context you need to hit the ground running with our newest episodes. Fair warning, as this is a recap, there will be spoilers ahead, so proceed accordingly. If you haven't listened to our season one, you may wanna check that out first. With that said, let's get into it. [thunder rumbling] [mysterious music] The town of Milton is trapped, surrounded on all sides by the cursed woods, known to locals as the Void. You see, Milton closed its borders to traffic in or out in 1994, a response to strange and deadly occurrences in the dark woods that mounted and intensified over time.
