AvTalk Episode 365: Bag fees, bag fees, bag fees
4/10/202652 min
On this week’s episode of AvTalk, we make a special trip to space and await Artemis II’s return to Earth. A tenuous cease fire in Iran leads to the first airspace re-openings, but a lack of jet fuel is affecting airports in Asia and Europe.
US airlines are hiking bag fees across the board and United Airlines is introducing basic premium fares. And in Brisbane, one particular jet bridge really had it out for a pair of 737s.

[upbeat music] Hello, and welcome to episode 365 of AvTalk. I am Ian Petchenik, here as always with Jason Rabinowitz.
Jason Rabinowitz· Co-host0:17
Ian, we are so close to having an episode of this podcast for every single day of the year. Isn't that something?
Ian Petchenik· Host0:24

Jason Rabinowitz· Co-host0:33

But if you think way back when, when the Max was grounded, we did a whole special episode on that and some other things. So lots and lots to look back on. If you haven't revisited the back catalog in a while, there's always some good stuff in there, especially some of those really interesting interviews. So head back that-a-way and, and see what you can find. Jason, you know what else is really cool?
Jason Rabinowitz· Co-host1:06
A lot of things. Particularly, I think I know where you're going with this. Spaceships are pretty cool.
Ian Petchenik· Host1:12
This week's spaceships are pretty cool.
Jason Rabinowitz· Co-host1:14
We don't talk about space much because airplanes don't typically go into space.
Ian Petchenik· Host1:18
Typically leaves open a wide berth to it's happened that they've gone into space, and I would like to learn more about that from you at a later date. But [laughs] let's stick to
