    [upbeat music] Hello, and welcome to the Arsenal Women Arsecast on arseblog.com with me, your host, Tim Stillman, sitting slowly marinating in the June summer heat here in England. [chuckles] Um, I've had to turn all my fans off, close windows. I've had to close my porch door, so by the end of this episode... Uh, so it doesn't interfere with the sound. So by the end of this episode, I might well be a husk of a man, but I am on a bit of a weight loss thing at the moment, so, um, maybe I'll be a few pounds lighter as well by the [chuckles] end of the recording. But here, as ever, uh, with us to record this summer kinda mail bag episode is our co-host, Jamie Spanger, who being Australian, has no experience of intense heat. Uh, Jamie, how are you doing?

    Uh, Tim, I hope you don't turn into a puddle by the end of this episode. [laughs] I'm, I'm good. I'm good. I'm very good. It's, uh, obviously a little bit colder over in Melbourne, where I am at right now. Winter's definitely hit. It does make me laugh, though, watching, uh, you guys freak out over the high temperatures. However, I always do say a 30-degree day in England is like a 45-degree day in Australia. It's just not built for it. It's actually awful. So yeah, it's better than the US and their hydration breaks when it's like- [laughs] ... 22 degrees at 8:00 PM.
