I'm joined today by Liège-Bastogne-Liège's number one fan- [laughs] ... who happens to be the same person, Lizzy Banks.

    Hello, Rose. Hello, listeners. Lovely to be back. It, it is true, you know, I sort of joke a little bit about Flèche Wallonne being one of my favorite races because I think it's so underrated usually. Not this year. [laughs] But Liège-Bastogne-Liège really, it really is one of the best races on the calendar. It's absolutely beautiful. Uh, it can provide such exciting, unexpected racing. The breakaway is often so key. Uh, and of course, you can finish it off with a waffle directly from Liège.

    And you can leave from the beautiful train station with the amazing sort of... Well, it's actually plastic-covered glass, and when the sunlight rarely shines through the train station, it illuminates the train station in this most, you know, rain- rainbow, uh, enigmatic way.
