Never say never. I, that's what I always say, 'cause, I mean, particularly for me now, I, when I have finished the final volume of Heartstopper and when the film comes out, I don't have any plans. Like, I really don't know what I'm gonna step into next, so I would never shut off any possibility of something more for Heartstopper.

But it's been, like, a wild ride in that, like, so much of the work falls squarely on Alice's shoulders- Mm ... in terms of, like, you do so much, you're such an active exec when we're filming it and in pre-production. But as well as that, you're always having to deliver these drafts of the scripts super quickly, and so I feel like it's been a lot. And, like- Mm ... I think we've got, like, we've come to this point of finishing it so satisfying, but there is a sort of exhaustion of, like, cr- creatively. [laughs] We need to kind of find our feet again.
