    Every morning, Annie Hang Kam Chu left her basement suite in Scarborough, a suburb of Toronto. She walked to a local coffee shop where she ordered a large coffee with two creams. The 64-year-old sat by the window with a group of seniors who met daily. She helped them with their English and ensured they got to their buses on time. Annie was looking forward to retirement until one evening while out for a walk she was attacked.
