A guide to shopping secondhand from a fashion writer

6/25/202625 min

Welcome to What Else?, a video mini-series proudly presented by Nespresso. This is our first time doing full-length video episodes, and we’re so excited to share this series with you. Over three episodes, we’ll be stepping into the hour that usually belongs entirely to yourself…the honest, unfiltered window between 7 to 8am, before the day begins. We’ll sit down with some of the most enamoured women in our orbit to uncover who they are beyond their titles, routines, and public personas.

In our third and final episode, we’re stepping inside Cait Emma Burke’s world. Aside from being Style-ish’s Senior Producer, Cait is also a successful writer and editor. She spent nearly five years as the Editor of Australian publication Fashion Journal, and as a freelancer, her writing has appeared in Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Esquire, i-D Magazine, Body + Soul, and more. We talk about her background in pre-loved fashion (and how to find those special pre-loved pieces), how to nail a pitch and get your work published, and what the driving force behind her career is.
