We dream on the Marlins. Could they be buyers? Could they be sellers? Could they be both? And could they do it with the Giants?

And we've been wondering all season long, when will the Mariners pull away in the AL West? We dig into the Mariners with Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times. [upbeat music] Welcome to Rates and Barrels. It's Tuesday, June 23rd. Derek Van Rye for Eno Sarris, Britt Rolli here. On this episode, we dig into some games we were watching on Monday night. We had a really big game between the Yankees and Tigers. We had a Braves-Padres game. We wanted to watch Cubs-Mets. That got rained out, so we kind of pivoted to Orioles-Angels for a little bit of a deep dive. Uh, some other stuff going on around the league, though. Good news. We'll start with some good news. Elie Dela Cruz, back Tuesday. Happy for that. Glad to see Elie back.

Coming off the hamstring injury. It's been about three weeks. Reds haven't played very well without him, and they just opened a series on Monday night with the Brewers. Brandon Woodruff came back and looked like post-shoulder injury Brandon Woodruff again, which was great news. Carried a no-hitter into the sixth. Was touching 94 at the end of that outing. Six innings, six scoreless innings, one hit ball, 10 Ks. Good news
