Hey, so, uh, my wife and I are on Baby Step 4. We're trying to save up to buy a house now. We currently have 80,000 and my parents are willing to put in 50, so a total down payment of 130. The problem is, in the Fort Worth area, um, uh, property taxes are very, very high, and any home with a value of under 270 is gonna have major foundation issues. And when we have found a home that we do like and we wanna put an offer in, every time we've been outbid, uh, by quite a bit. So do we continue looking, or do we just take our money, give up on the getting a house, and just put that money towards retirement?
