[upbeat music] Today on the show we are talking about the concept of LOOT, life on own terms. Haven't actually saw that or talked about it for a little while. We're talking about money in our 40s. If you're in that middle ages type crunch of schooling, mortgages, all that. Uh, there's a question about rent-to-rent. Kind of don't know what that means, but we'll get to that. And, um, house buyers. Is it still actually possible to buy a house in this day and age? I am joined by Alex Luck from Everest Wealth. Welcome back to PodVegas.

Hey, um, someone said, they sent in a question, "I'd really like to hear an episode on what other people's version of LOOT means for them and why the life/financial decisions they have made towards their LOOT. It'd be interesting to do a deep dive on people's values and the kinds of decisions/compromises they are willing to make to live a life in accordance with their values. Ideas would be great, as I'm not sure what LOOT's me- what LOOT means for me yet." And I think, Alex, maybe for your benefit and others who might be new here, I kind of wanted my own cool acronym for my own audience,
