[upbeat rock music] Hello, everyone, and welcome to the Ellis James and John Robins show.
Dave0:21
How have you been, John?
John Robins· Host0:23
Oh, it's been a rollercoaster week really, uh, in many ways. Um, I've been doing some, uh, like PR and interviews for my book.
Dave0:34
Oh, okay.
John Robins· Host0:35
All of which, for some reason, included walking on the same footpath near me.
Dave0:40
How, how does that happen?
John Robins· Host0:43
Okay. Because the wonderful podcast with, uh, Emily Dean- Yeah ...is walking your dog.
Dave0:48
Yeah.
John Robins· Host0:48
Um, the interview with The Guardian, the photos were taken outside, so I went there.
Dave0:53
Oh, you did an interview with The Guardian. Well done.
John Robins· Host0:55
And then the Observer would also do a feature where you're- It was the Observer as well. [laughs] ... when you're going for a walk. So they all sort of feature in a local spot I drive to and walk- Oh, that's good ... around. Um, yeah.
Dave1:07
Oh, I can't, I can't... But that's, that's a successful PR campaign.
John Robins· Host1:10
Yeah. It's decent stuff.
Dave1:12
It's decent stuff.
John Robins· Host1:13
It's decent stuff. One show still holding out.
Dave1:15
Are they?
John Robins· Host1:16
Yeah, they're playing hardball.
Dave1:18
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
John Robins· Host1:18
But two can play at that game.
Dave1:20
What, so you're gonna say no if when they ask you to go on it?
John Robins· Host1:23
[laughing] Yeah.
Dave1:25
In, in the hope that they then ask you to go on again even though there's no fee.
