5/4/202658 min
On the Monday, May 4 episode of 520 in the Morning, Jeff Teague, DJ Wells, and B Hen react to the three Game 7s from over the weekend in the first round of the NBA playoffs. Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and the Philadelphia 76ers came back from being down 3-1 to beat the Boston Celtics in Game 7. The guys debate whether we could see BIG changes in Boston after flaming out in the playoffs in back to back years. The guys then react to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons handling business on Sunday over the Toronto Raptors and Orlando Magic in their game 7s. Detroit dominated most of the game, and the Cavs big 3rd quarter propelled them to the second round. The guys preview the first two series that start tonight in the 76ers and New York Knicks, and the Minnesota Timberwolves vs. the San Antonio Spurs.
