[upbeat music] This is the Baymont Podcast with Marty Solomon. I'm his co-host, Brent Billings. Today we are with Reed Dent to discuss the pillar of text.
Marty Solomon· Host0:17
Yeah, we're gonna keep this new session 10 series on the move. We're looking at the four pillars. We got to hear my thoughts last week. I'll probably kick off every one of these pillars. I'll give you my thought on community next, probably discipleship.
Brent Billings· Host0:34
Naturally so, yes.
Marty Solomon· Host0:36
Yeah. And then after that, wrestling, but I also wanna hear from Reed and Elle, and I don't want them to necessarily build their thoughts off of mine. So Reed, Reed hasn't heard. You haven't heard, Reed, what I, what I did already?
Reed Dent· Guest0:47
Mm-mm. No idea. I'm sure it was brilliant though, but no, I haven't heard any of it.
Marty Solomon· Host0:51
Basically, their prompt is, this is one of our four key values, one of our four key pillars here at Baymont, talk to us about it. Whatever comes to your mind, whatever you see, whatever you love about this concept, whatever you struggle with, like, whatever comes to mind. So I think Elle, I think Elle's up by herself. She's just gonna do, with you and Brent, uh, you, Brent. She's just gonna do a solo, her edition of the text. She's pretty big on the Bible. I figured I would just let her roll.
Reed Dent· Guest1:19
Way bigger on it than I am. Way bigger on it than I am. I just did a whole thing on vices and virtues and, like, you know, basically an excuse- [laughs] ... to not have to talk about the text.
