2/26/202655 min
Microgreens are incredibly healthy edible greens that are also unbelievably easy to grow with a little training. My returning guest this week, Jonah Krochmalnek, the owner and founder of Microgreens Consulting, explains what turned him on to microgreens and how he scaled from a few racks in his parents' spare room to a thriving business.

Hi friends. I'm Joe Lamp'l, the Joe behind Joe Gardener, and welcome to The Joe Gardener Show. One of my favorite podcast episodes in the past was on a new to me topic with today's guest, Jonah Krokmelnik, who at a young age, yet introverted entrepreneur, started growing microgreens in his parents' 150 square foot spare bedroom as an early teen. Now to be clear, I was well aware of microgreens, but I just had never had a conversation with an expert about growing them and all the good things that are associated with microgreens. Anyway, Jonah's curiosity soon became the start of his very own microgreens business in 2013, and that little business grew to become Living Earth Farm, one of Canada's premier organic microgreen farms. These days, Jonah is still very active in the microgreens industry, more passionate about microgreens than ever, and traveling the world and sharing his expertise in his new business, Microgreens Consulting. And today he's back for a follow-up conversation to learn more about where's Jonah now, along with some of his latest ventures, including one that we can all participate in coming up on Wednesday, March 4th at 3:00 PM Eastern Time. It's a free webinar Jonah is doing for our listeners on starting a profitable microgreens business from home in 30 days or less, and we'll touch on that in today's episode. But you can learn more and register at joegardener.com/microgreens, no spaces, and we will repeat that link
