I love when readers come up to me at signings and are so moved that they cry. That sounds evil, but- [laughs] But because I cried writing it, and so when I, when I talk to someone who's, like, shaking and crying and just, uh, almost speechless trying to explain what the book meant to them, I know that they felt it the way that I felt when I was writing it. And so I usually just tell them, I'm just like, "You have a whiskey, don't you?" And they're like, "Yes," and I'm like, "I get it. I understand."

I'm obsessed with pole fitness. Um, I actually got dragged to my first class by my best friend. We were roommates at the time. She was like, "There's a Groupon for a pole dance. We are going. I will have no arguments."
