Very, very serious news that happened over this weekend. I'm talking about the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting, and this has to do with a Torrance man by the name of Cole Thomas Allen. He's 31 years old, lives at home with his parents, and apparently- No ... went to Cal State Dominguez Hills.

He graduated with a master's in mechanical engineering. Uh, previous j- occupations that he had is video game developer, a tutor, and of course, he's worked as an engineer. In 2024, he was named teacher of the month. All right, you gotta, you gotta know this information about him because this guy is going to be in the news stories all over- Mm-hmm ... all this week and then some. Today, he's set to see a federal court, so we'll be learning more about him and the charges brought against him. But over the weekend at the White House Correspondents' Dinner that was held at a Hilton in Washington, DC, he seemed to have tried to bum rush security with a handgun and a shotgun. Made his way almost to the door that would have led him into where everybody was having dinner, including the President of the United States, Donald Trump, before he was tackled by security.
