This week we're discussing comfort objects, so little things that bring inordinate comfort to our lives. We're also sharing our cozy rituals and an ideal way to spend the day. So before we jump in, I have, like, a funny, weird update. I think this is, like... I think I'm either evolving, either evolving, getting old, or both.
Emma Chapman· Host0:33
I think getting old might be evolving though, so I think your only option- I think I'm e- ... is both.
Elsie Larson· Host0:38
[laughs] I think I'm getting old and evolving. Okay, so I have been known my entire life as a messy person, and in fact, that is, like, how our blog, A Beautiful Mess, got its name in, I don't know, what year? 2012 [laughs] or something, whenever we named it.
Emma Chapman· Host0:55
Probably before that.
Elsie Larson· Host0:56
Oh yeah.
Emma Chapman· Host0:57
It's definitely before that.
Elsie Larson· Host0:57
You're right, 2006. 2006 or '7 probably.
Emma Chapman· Host1:01
Yeah.
Elsie Larson· Host1:01
When did we name it?
Emma Chapman· Host1:01
I think 2007. That's my... Anyway.
Elsie Larson· Host1:04
Um- It doesn't matter.
Emma Chapman· Host1:05
Okay.
Elsie Larson· Host1:05
Date that sounds a long time ago. Okay. So anyway, I've been messy my entire, entire, entire life, but this year, I don't know if it was getting a new kitchen. It is the greatest kitchen ever, I'm not gonna lie. Like, and- Yeah, it is ... and it took six months of it being ripped out for... So it was a very long renovation. It was very taxing. It was hard on my kids.
