You're listening to Sunday's episode of The Archers from BBC Radio 4. [instrumental music] [birds chirping] [laughs] Xander is actually pretty good at cartwheels. Did you see that one? He- Yeah, yeah.

  2. Speaker 20:28

He's much better than most kids his age.

  3. Adam Macy0:30

    Yeah.

  4. Speaker 20:30

And his handstands aren't too shabby either.

  5. Adam Macy0:32

[laughs] Maybe I should see if there's a gym club he could go to in Borchester.

  6. Speaker 20:36

    Yeah, he'd like that.

  7. Adam Macy0:37

Now I'm not at Home Farm from dawn till dusk, all these things are possible. I can take Xander to clubs, have his friends over after school, finally learn how to make blancmange.

  8. Speaker 20:47

[laughs] What? So Adam, is making blancmange on your bucket list?

  9. Adam Macy0:54

It is. [laughs] Literally. The only thing that's stopped me from making perfect milk-based desserts is having a head full of herbal eggs.

  10. Speaker 21:02

[laughs] Although, to be fair, I mean, you were never happier than when you were calculating ways to improve soil health.

  11. Adam Macy1:08

No wonder you fell in love with me. Who wouldn't?

  12. Speaker 21:11

[laughs] Oh, this is so nice. Just you, me, and Xander.

  13. Adam Macy1:19

Mm. If it was always like this, I think I'd be happy.

  14. Speaker 21:22

Mm. I'm sorry things are so tough.

  15. Adam Macy1:25

Oh, you know, at least I've had the pleasure of redirecting all the Home Farm
