2026 Madrid Open, WTA CEO Steps Down & Fan Q&A | Love All w/ Kim Clijsters

4/29/20261 hr 16 min

Join 4-time Grand Slam Champion Kim Clijsters and tennis reporter Blair Henley as they break down the biggest headlines — a mystery illness sweeping the Madrid Open, Hailey Baptiste's viral racket smash, the Vondrousova anti-doping case, the CEO of the WTA stepping down, and the Taylor Fritz–Morgan Riddle breakup. During the fan Q&A segment, Kim reflects on the surprising "post-Slam" loneliness she felt after her 2005 US Open victory and offers tactical advice on overcoming first-round jitters through constant foot movement. The discussion dives into the high-stakes world of tennis media as Blair explains the decision-making process behind "spicy" on-court interviews, while Kim recounts the comical origin of her legendary doubles partnership with Ai Sugiyama. Closing on a personal note, Kim shares the story of when her sons realized she was a famous tennis player. Welcome to Love All! Here we go. [upbeat music] Hi, everyone. Welcome back to another episode of Love All. Really excited to be back. I've had a few days off, and I feel haven't been watching the tennis that much. So Blair, I'm very happy that you're going to be, uh, keeping me informed with all the latest news, uh, on, on today's episode.

  5. Blair Henley· Host0:37

I'm gonna try, Kim. But, but the reason that you are maybe slightly more out of the loop is, is because you had the ultimate test of your newly repaired Achilles. You went to Disney World, Kim, and- I did [laughs] ... that, that means, like, what? 25- Yeah ... thousand steps a day. Like, it's- About that ... bananas.

  6. Kim Clijsters· Co-host0:58

Yes. Um, so, uh, had some good sneakers. And, and the Achilles, it held up fine. It was really nice to, uh, to, to spend a few days there. I had, um, only been once, uh, for, like, a day, but just did a couple of things, so it was really nice to take the kids and, and, uh, spend some time all together. And, um, yeah, but definitely my Achilles held up pretty good. Like, I didn't have any... You know, besides the fact that it gets a little stiff still when I sit down after or I'm waiting for on one of the rides where I don't wanna go on, and everyone else- [laughs] ... is, is, is getting
