2026 French Open POWER RANKINGS (Final Edition)

Gill Gross reveals the final 2026 French Open Power Rankings, a fully evidence-based list in order of Roland Garros men’s singles contendership. The top-10 seeds in Paris will be Sinner, Zverev, Djokovic, Auger-Alliasime, Shelton, Medvedev, Fritz, De Minaur and Bublik, but only six of those 10 made the Power Rankings. With Alcaraz, Draper and Musetti all out with injury, the tournament’s final weekend feels more attainable than ever ahead of the draw reveal.

    Hey everyone, Gil Gross here, and it is time for the final reveal of my twenty-twenty six French Open power rankings. Usual disclaimer, the power rankings are not my predictions. My predictions will come out shortly after the draw on Friday at some point. My power rankings are my best attempt to sift through all of the hard evidence, objectively assess it, and create a contendership list ahead of Roland-Garros. All right? So it'll be a top ten, but we will begin with four players, actually five players, who did not make the top ten, but they were close. They're in the next out category. They've obviously done something good in order to warrant a mention, but I will explain why they're not in my top ten. Let's start with João Fonseca. Everyone he's lost to since March, other than Medjedovic, is in the top ten of these power rankings. So ultimately, he hasn't really had bad losses. He just hasn't won enough this year to justify a placement. Even though he's been much better since March, he had the injury issue at the start of the year, he's still forty-fifth in the race. He probably has given Sinner his second closest match of his win streak, so that's something, after Medvedev. And last year
