16. Finding Freedom from Doing It All Alone with Leonie
4/29/202659 min
In this episode, Peter sits with Leonie as they explore the experience of feeling like everything in life is up to you.
Leonie shares how early loss and taking on responsibility at a young age shaped the way she relates to herself, her work, and the world around her. As a musician with a deep desire to reach others through her art, she finds herself feeling stuck, depleted, and carrying a weight she can’t seem to shake. As the conversation unfolds, Peter offers a deeper understanding around the patterns she’s been living in.
If you’ve ever felt like you have to do it all on your own, or that something is holding you back despite your effort, this episode offers a powerful invitation to experience life differently.

You know, I don't wanna come across on this podcast as like a dumb woman, you know? [laughs] I know that I'm not, but that's kind of like the layer that is presenting itself as well.

Listen, I just appreciate, you know, this is called metacognition, right, where we can reflect on our own thinking. So not only feel what you're feeling, but also your willingness to share it.

I feel depleted. I feel tired. It kind of feels like I'm finally at this moment where I'm ready to face some stuff. I'm a singer-songwriter. I'm an artist, independent artist. I've up until now been doing everything by myself. I just finished an album, Medicine of the Muse, but I really, I really cannot continue with just me just, you know, putting it out there and hope it's gonna do its magic. [inhales] I can truly use your support to come to the core of this. All right. Lots of love. Ciao.

Hi, this is Peter Crone, and you're listening to another episode of Finding Freedom. In today's episode, I got to speak to Leonie about what I would consider to be one of the most prevalent and insidious parts of the human experience, which is thinking that we are separate, and with it, the narrative that everything in life is up to us. If that resonates with you in any way, then this episode is for you, and hopefully by the end of this episode you will realize that life doesn't have to be that way. And in fact, this is the invitation to recognize that we're all part of the infinite expression of what it is to be consciousness itself. Sending you all much love. I hope you enjoy this
