#1363: Online Negativity

I'm pulling out of my driveway. We all know what that means. It's time to another drive to work. Okay, so today's topic is online negativity. Um, but I have a little bit of a preamble to, to get how I got to this c- podcast today. Um, so just a little behind the scenes of my life. Uh, my family and I, especially my wife and I, like to watch a lot of television. Um, and among that, we watch some number of reality shows. Um, but one of the shows that we watch with my youngest daughter, Sarah, uh, is a show called America's Sweethearts. Uh, for those that do not know the show, it's on Netflix. Uh, it is about the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders, also known as the DCC. Um, so the Cowboys obviously are a football team out of Dallas, uh, and they have, uh, cheerleaders. Um, th- and I, I don't know, uh, the history of all of the, uh, NFL's cheerleaders, but the, the DCC go back pretty far. Um, I think b- I, I think back to, like, the '70s. They go back many, many years. Um, and it is, uh, there's 36 members of the team, and it is very serious. For those that, um, might think of cheerleading as being some very passive thing, uh, done on the side of the field, uh, this is basically a dance tea- a very serious dance team.
