Uh, I am on vacation with my family this week, so because of that, I recorded this segment for this week's episode last week. Uh, it's, it's early. It's still late March, it's not April. Uh, there has been no April Fools in my reality yet, so maybe this message is coming too late. But I'm, I'm gonna make it anyway. Birding is a trust-based community. We rely on our fellow birders to provide accurate information about the birds that they see. Uh, 364 days of the year, this is not an issue. One day of the year, it seems like some birders can't help but do the very obvious thing and report a fake bird, sometimes a really ridiculous one. Let me be clear here: stop it.
